Why Choose Rebekah & Grace Photography

About Me

I Confess

I HAVE A CONFESSION!!! It was recently brought to my attention that I may be an anomaly as a wedding photographer. I admit I have a problem (if you want to call it that). I fall in love with my clients and their families! (not in a weird creepy way 🤪) But honestly, how can I help it?!!!! I have the honor of being a part of and trusted to capture one of the most important days (or weekend celebrations) of the bride and grooms life! I get to witness the love and laughter. The tears of joy and some of sorrow (when loved ones who should be there are not). I get to hear the intimate conversations and the whispered: “I love you’s”. I LOVE MY JOB!!!

A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be excited about the whole process with them!  I want to be your problem solver, a thoughtful adviser and ultimately a good friend. Which is why I will not book any and every inquiry that comes in. I try my best to make sure that all of my couples are the perfect fit for me before officially booking.

My Approach

My approach to a wedding day is a blend of documentary and fine art styles that result in timeless, authentic and exquisitely beautiful imagery. As your photographer, my role is to capture the true emotion and joy on the day as unobtrusively and naturally as possible. The best memories are created in the moments of genuine, heartfelt interactions rather than staged for the camera.

What I love most about photography is capturing life in the moment. It’s in the fleeting moments that life happens.  I believe the photographs we create together only succeed if you look back at them and once again, relive that moment in your memories. Your mom should see your portrait and be able to hear your laughter. Your spouse should get the butterflies he felt at the moment of your first look, and someone 80 years from now should be able to learn what it was like to share a meal with you.

The way you look at one another, the hug your parents give you, the tears, the dancing, and the laughter – all of these memories are what you and generations to come will cherish forever. The photos that I take in those moments will be the timeless memories of your legacy.

My Style

Most describe my shooting style as fine art/photojournalistic. Specializing in timeless post-production techniques, I would describe my editing style as light and bright, creamy and dreamy with a little pop and contrast. I adore beautiful colors, but I also can’t help but swoon over classic, iconic black and whites. Creating portraits with lots of bokeh (blur in the background that makes the subject pop off the background), and glowing, natural light is my passion and I pride myself in my ability to find the perfect light to create portraits that highlight the beauty of my subjects.

The Experience

To me, wedding photography is more than just images. It’s about the experience. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience. It should be fun, enjoyable and natural.  My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, but it’s also to create an experience they will never forget.

Thank you

Thank you to all those brides and grooms and families who have trusted me to be a part of one of the biggest moments in your life. I love y’all! All of y’all! 💕🥰

And to all the future Brides and Grooms and their families; if you’re looking for a photographer to just show up and take some pictures, I’m NOT the photographer for you! Just saying! 😉 But if you want someone who invests their all into your wedding photography, who takes pride in what they do, who laughs and cries with you and loves and treats you and your family as their own; then maybe I’m your photographer. Give me a call and let’s find out.
